The University of Kent provides an undergraduate degree in Creative Events Design and Production at its Chatham campus.

The degree encourages students to draw inspiration from many creative fields such as theatre and stage design, entertainment technology, interior design, advertising and live art.

As part of the degree, Maidstone Borough Council's Arts Development Team forms part of the course's 'Meet the Professionals' programme, meeting students to discuss current professional practice and live projects.

Maidstone Borough Council has created an arts management information platform where students can download useful presentations and documents.
